Chemical Peels

The Level 1 Peel is a gentle yet effective exfoliating treatment that combines a mild exfoliating acid with phenol to promote skin renewal and improve skin texture and tone. It is suitable for individuals with mild skin concerns and aims to provide a refreshed and rejuvenated complexion.

Benefits: The Level 1 Peel offers several benefits for the skin:

  1. Exfoliation: The combination of exfoliating acid and phenol helps to remove dead skin cells, promoting a smoother and more radiant complexion.

  2. Improved Skin Texture: The peel can help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and rough skin texture, leading to softer and more supple skin.

  3. Even Skin Tone: By removing surface pigmentation and encouraging cellular turnover, the peel can contribute to a more even and balanced skin tone.

  4. Enhanced Product Absorption: After the peel, the skin is better able to absorb and benefit from skincare products, maximizing their effectiveness.

Peeling Process: After the Level 1 Peel, patients can expect the skin to peel for approximately 4 to 6 days. The peeling process is a natural part of the skin's healing and renewal response. As old, damaged skin cells are shed, fresh, rejuvenated skin is revealed underneath. During this time, it's essential for patients to follow post-peel instructions provided by the medical professional to ensure proper healing and to protect the new skin.

A custom-tailored skincare regimen will also be provided, focusing on gentle and nourishing products to support the skin during the peeling phase and maintain the results of the treatment.

The Level 2 Peel is a signature peel that offers more intensive depigmentation benefits, designed to address skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation issues. The two options for this peel are the Canvas Peel™ and the Cosmelan Peel.

Benefits: The Level 2 Peel provides significant benefits for individuals with stubborn pigmentation concerns:

  1. Depigmentation: The peel's active ingredients help to break down and inhibit the production of melanin, leading to a reduction in dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

  2. Brighter Complexion: By promoting the natural desquamation of deeper, old skin cells, the renewed skin that emerges tends to be brighter, more luminous, and even-toned.

  3. Safe for All Skin Types: This type of peel is formulated to be safe for all skin types, including darker skin types, as it does not use harsh ingredients that can cause excessive irritation or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Peeling Process: The Level 2 Peel can result in a longer peeling process compared to the Level 1 Peel, typically lasting between 7 to 14 days, depending on the specific skin issue being addressed and the peel chosen (Canvas Peel or Cosmelan Peel). The peeling phase is crucial for achieving the desired depigmentation results and revealing the improved skin underneath.

Patients will be provided with post-peel instructions and a custom-tailored skincare regimen to support the skin during the peeling process and enhance the final outcome of the treatment.

(Note: The specifics of the peel formulations and the exact peeling duration may vary based on the specific products and protocols used).
